Services for Ethel W. Long will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Dillon First Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Long, 85, died Monday, May 11, 2015 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, August 13, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Sam Watson and Mandy Lane Watson. She was a member of First Baptist Church, and was a retired Registered Nurse from St. Eugene Hospital after 42 years of service.
Survivors include her son, Gerald (Barbara) Long of Dillon; and one sister.
Memorials may be made to the McLeod Hospice House, 1203 E. Cheves St., Florence, SC 29506.
