The “Girl Talk” group at Latta High School held a tea party on Monday, April 27th at the Ellis Performing Arts Center. This is a student-led group formed by Ashley Sawyer and Morgan Bryant-Cook. The purpose of the group is for high school girls to mentor middle school girls through what can be rough years. The group meets twice a month and discusses various topics such as friendship, loyalty, or whatever they choose to talk about. They held the tea party as a fun activity because they thought the girls would like to dress up and do something different. The girls hold fundraisers to fund their activities.
