Dillon’s Tejah Breeden signed on to play basketball and run track for Morris College on Wednesday, May 27.
Breeden also ran track for the Wildcats and helped Dillon claimed the lower state title in 2012 before earning their first ever state championship in track, finishing with a team total of 72. Breeden finished seventh in the High Jump event. She also qualified for the state meet in 2013, finishing fourth in the High Jump event. She was named All-Region in both seasons. Breeden also competed in the long jump, triple jump, and 4×400 relay events.

In addition to basketball and track, Breeden also played volleyball for the Lady Wildcats, helping the team advanced to the second round of the Class 2A playoffs in 2014. The Wildcats finished with a 13-5 record, falling to Bishop England in round two.
Breeden said Morris will be a very good opportunity for her and that she is excited to be a part of the Hornets’ team. “I feel like I could further myself by going there.”
