On Saturday, October 17, the Dillon High School Marching Band competed at the E. E. Smith Gotham City Classic in Fayetteville, NC. They earned the following awards: Second Place in class, Best Percussion in class, Best Drum Major in class, Hypest Band of the Day, First place in Marching and Maneuvers, Third place Flag Line, Second place in Dance Line, Third Place in General Effect and Third Place in Music. Mr. Adrian Wright is the band director and Mr. Kevin McLellan is the assistant band director.
