Services for Daisy Emmery Allen will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Visitation was held 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Ms. Allen, 84, died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Born in Dillon, SC, September 19, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John Colin Allen and Hattie Sue Whittington Allen. She was retired from Anvil Mills.
Survivors include her daughters, Faye (David) Cook, and Linda Herring, both of Dillon; grandchildren, Cecil R. Herring (Michelle Powers), Richard C. Herring, Jamie (JoAnna) Butler, Nicole (John) Brigman; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Bryant “Buddy” (Barbara) Allen of Dillon; special friend, Connie Flowers.
Ms. Allen was preceded in death by her three brothers; and three sisters.
