Services for Jimmy Allen Locklear will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. Elem Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Locklear, 56, died Monday, November 9, 2015 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Born in Marlboro County, SC, September 4, 1959, he was the son of the late James Meggs and Bernice Locklear.  He attended Oakland Full Gospel Holiness Church, was a U.S. Army Veteran, and was employed by J&J Logging.     Survivors include his wife, Betty Locklear of Latta; sons, Jimmy Lee Locklear (Heather Brown), Kevin Jackson (Brittany), both of Latta; daughters, Bridget Locklear and Brandy Jacobs (Kevin), both of Latta, and Phylicia Horton of Dillon; grandchildren, Kayla and Nathan Jacobs, Cameron and Cayden Hunt, Trent Locklear, Makyha Horton, and Aceeyahna Carmichael; brothers, Phillip Locklear, Robert Locklear, Johnny Locklear, all of Dillon, and Danny Kay Locklear (Michelle) of Newton, MI.
