A local restaurant visited East Elementary to reward the students who scored the highest in their first, second or third grade class on the reading and math portions of the spring MAP test. The students received a certificate and a free kid’s meal card for their accomplishments.
The “Chasing the Chicken” program at East has been a great motivator for students to do their best on the MAP test.
