A man walking along Highway 9 East in Dillon was hit and killed by a vehicle around  3:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Coroner Donnie Grimsley identifies  the victim is Calving Fletcher, 56, of Dillon.
A 35-year-old Charleston woman, Shana Smiling, has been charged in the incident. She is charged with felony driving under the influence resulting in death and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
