Mrs. Helen Pittman Campbell, 92, died Friday, September 23, 2016 at her home after an extended illness. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Richardson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
  Mrs. Campbell was born in Dillon, SC  a daughter of the late Adar Napoleon Pittman and Blanche Cottingham Pittman. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Durham Edward Campbell; her children: Gilbert, Bobby, and Billy Davis; her sister, Marie Jenkins; brothers: J.M. Pittman (Christine), Bill Pittman (Louise), Jesse Pittman (Lois), Robert Pittman(Barbara)  and Doug Pittman (Nell); and sister-in-law, Gladys Pittman.  Mrs. Campbell previously worked as a nurse for Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC and was co- owner, with her husband, of Western Auto in Marion. She was also a member of Marion Baptist Church.
  Surviving are her brother, A.D. Pittman of Raleigh, NC, and sister, Dorothy Jean Tyndall of Martinsville, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice Care of South Carolina and caretakers Terri Pittman and Vickie Allen.
