Mary Sue Belk, 71, died Monday, October 17, 2016, at Brunswick Nursing Center in Leland, NC.
Funeral services were held 12:00 p.m.. Wednesday at Dillon Church of God with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was 11:00-12:00 Wednesday at the church prior to the service.
Born in Dillon County, November 20, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Ashley Curtis Williams and Mary Elizabeth Coward Williams. She was a member of the Dillon Church of God, and widow of the late Melvyn Belk.
Survivors include her daughter, Vickie Sue (Dennis) Gough of Johnsonville; son, Ray (Lisa) Belk, Jr. of Dillon; brothers, Larry and Ronnie Williams both of Burlington, NC; grandchildren, Raegan (Jason) Spivey, Christian Belk, Josh Roberts, and Hannah Roberts; 1 great-grandchild, Eden Spivey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvyn Belk; and a brother, Jimmy Williams.
