Robert Cook, 88, died Friday, November 18, 2016 at his home.
Graveside services were held Sunday, November 20, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. in Olivet (Marietta) Cemetery at 1800 Affinity Road, Fairmont, NC 28340.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta, SC.
Mr. Cook was born July 4, 1928, in South Carolina.  Robert retired as a Rural Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service and owned Dixie Home and Auto in Latta.  
He was of the Christian faith and the widower of Hilda Hayes Cook.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Jane Cook Atkins (Ben) of Aynor; and daughter-in-law, Betty Cook of Rock Hill, SC.  He was predeceased by his son, Robert Cook, Jr.
