JACKSONVILLE—Thelma Hyatt Oliver, 88, of Jacksonville, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, February 27, 2017.  She was born on November 20, 1928 in Dillon County, SC, as the first daughter of Thomas and Sallie Cook Hyatt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Thomas Oliver; three sisters, Betty, Mattie, and Juanita; four brothers, Elmer, Cleo, David and Winfred.
She is survived by two sons, Johnie and James of Jacksonville; a cousin, Frances Jackson of Dillon County; and numerous nieces and nephews.
No service will be held before burial at Richmond County Memorial Park in Rockingham, NC.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Onslow County Home, Health and Hospice.
