After a scoreless first inning, Aynor took 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning on an error of which Latta committed 4 in the game while Aynor committed only 1 error.
N. Fowler was the winning pitcher for Aynor while pitching four and a third innings giving up only 1 hit, struck out 5, walked 1, and gave up no runs.
The Vikings Noah Henderson suffered the loss for Latta going 4 innings. He allowed 4 runs, 6 hits, struck out 4, and walked 1.
Latta’s McLeod Carmichael started the game. He pitched 1 inning and allowed no runs, no hits, struck out 1, and walked no one.
The bats were cold for the Vikings as John Malcolm George garnered a single, and Jason Norton connected for a double for the only 2 hits for Latta for the night.
Aynor’s P. Richardson homered in his 3 trips to the plate and picked up 2 rbi. L. Martin connected for 2 singles in his 4 at-bats. N. Fowler and B. Lloyed each singled in 3 trips to the plate. J. Duke also singled in his 4 at-bats.
