Personnel recommendations were made at the Dillon District Four School Board meeting recently.
Dr. Polly Elkins, who presented the recommendations, said that there were still 15 openings for teachers- four openings at Lake View High School, two at Dillon Middle School and nine at Dillon High School- at the time of the meeting.
The following recommendations, resignations, and transfers were approved upon a motion by Trustee Famon Whitfield and a second by Trustee Burt Rogers:
Resignations: Carolyn Peppers, Food Service Operator at East; Kimberly Reaves, Assistant at Stewart Heights.
Recommendations: Anthony Alford, ISS Supervisor at Gordon; Valerie Turner, Assistant at Stewart Heights.
Transfer: Deborah Weston, Food Service Operator at Dillon High transferred to East.
Resignations at the end of 2016-2017 SY: Scott Haselden, Teacher at Dillon Middle; Robert Jeter, Teacher at Dillon High; Sarah Lane, Teacher at Lake View Elementary; Nichole S. Lewis, Teacher at East Elementary; Michael Locklear, Teacher at Dillon High.
Recommendations for the 2017-2018 SY: Eloise Cantey, Teacher; Heather M. Causey, School Psychologist Intern; Meredith C. Coleman, Teacher; Ariel Fitts, Teacher; Naytoniyan Green, Teacher; Shacara Hanna, Teacher; Naomi Harris, Teacher; Ronald Hughes, Teacher; Kareem Liles, Teacher; Kayla M. Sanderson, Teacher; Shelton O. Simmon, Teacher; Holli Strickland, Teacher; Leanna M. Ward, Teacher.
