Surviving are his parents, Daniel (Chip) Jackson and Jenny Anne Clewis of Dillon; brother, Daniel Jacob Clewis of Dillon; maternal grandparents, Eugene & Carolyn Clewis of Hamer; paternal grandparents, Mrs. Ann Morgan & Mike of Dillon; paternal great grandparents, William & Doris Dudley of Dillon; aunt, Marilyn Pavey & Jim of Greenville, NC; uncles, Matthew Wayne Clewis and Dusty Jackson, both of Dillon. Jamie was preceded in death by his sister, Jessica Lynn Jackson Clewis; great-grandparents, Arthur & Peggy Bowen of Ayden, NC. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Hamer officiated by Rev. Eugene Wayne Clewis directed by Cooper Funeral Home.

That’s according to the nonprofit National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), which is promoting “Smoke Alarms: A sound you can live with!” as the theme for this year’s Fire Prevention Week campaign, October 3-9, 2010. NFPA has been the official sponsor of Fire Prevention Week for 88 years.
