Admin 2Sixteen members of the Rebecca Pickens Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, met at Ashpole Presbyterian Church, Rowland, N.C., on May 10, 2016, to celebrate the 100th birthday of this chapter, which was chartered on May 9, 1916.
Admin 2Palmetto Leadership is a program that focuses on developing leaders and helping them become effective contributors in their communities. Dillon County has had eight sessions of Palmetto Leadership in recent years and now several of its alumni are putting their skills to use in the community through forming a working alumni association.
Admin 2The Lake View Woman’s Club met May 3rd at a restaurant in Mullins for their year-end luncheon where Mary Grace Spivey was named Club Woman of the Year.
