When you’re walking down the main hallway at Dillon Middle School at 1:35 until 2:55 you will hear Band Director Kevin McLellan and the eighth grade band students running scales or learning new music or Chorus Director Joshua Fleetwood and the eighth grade chorus practicing notes or singing songs. The Music Department at Dillon Middle School is excited about reestablishing the long-standing tradition of musical excellence.

Some Dillon District Four Schools have been named Reward Schools for Performance and Reward Schools for Progress.
Reward Schools for Performance are the highest performing Title 1 schools in a given year.

LHS Athletic Booster Club Formed
On Monday, August 6, a meeting of the Latta High School Athletic Booster Club was held at the LHS gym. An enthusiastic group came together to discuss plans for a revival of the Booster Club.
