JV Martin Jr. High School has received the School Improvement Grant for $2,176,476 to support high quality, sustainable school improvement activities over a three year period.

South Carolina’s 2010 public high school graduates matched last year’s performance on the ACT college entrance exam despite an increase of more than 1,100 additional test-takers, the company said. The national average was down slightly.
The Bull Lee Memorial Chapel at Dillon Christian School will be dedicated on Friday, August 20th at 6:15 p.m., according to Headmaster John Davis.

Latiffa Smith, an honors graduate of Dillon High School, has been awarded the Gordon Alumni Scholarship.
In the month of June 2010, Mrs. Kimberly H. Dease along with two of her coworkers traveled to Columbia, S.C. for and AMI Regional Award ceremony.
Dease was very astonished that she was selected as Teacher of the Year.
Dease is a Dillon resident and the daughter of Ann. H. Manning and Phillips M. Hamer.
