Matthews Named Principal Of Elementary School In Florence
At a recent meeting, the Florence One Board of Trustees approved the appointment of two new principals hired to fill the vacancies left by administrators at Dewey L. Carter Elementary School and at Moore Intermediate School. The new appointments will take effect July 1, 2011.

Manning Chapel UMC Celebrates Memorial Day
On Sunday June 5, Manning Chapel UMC in Latta, celebrated Memorial Day with a special Memorial Day Celebration. The main focus of the service was that God would be Glorified and the Veteran’s honored for their service to this country.
