Dillon took on Johnsonville in the second round of the District Three Belles Championship tournament on Tuesday, June 21.

The District Three Ponytails Sub-District Championship and District Three Belles Dillon Championship were held in Dillon on Monday, June 20, through Friday, June 24, with Dillon’s teams dominating both tournaments.
The 13-14 year old Dillon Dixie Boys Allstars defeated Darlington and Marlboro County over the weekend to advance to the finals of the District Three Sub-District Championship Tournament.
The Dillon Ponytails claimed the District Three Sub-District championship title on Friday night against Mullins and will move on to face Sumter tonight at 7:00 p.m. in Dillon for the first of a best of three series to determine the District Championship.
Hamer’s Townsend Hamilton and Dillon’s Jim Carr each earned top spots in the South Carolina Junior Golfers Association (SCJGA) Hootie and the Blowfish Pee Dee Chapter tournaments held on June 13 at Oakdale Country Club and on June 17 at Governor’s Run Golf Club.
