Recently members of The Glove and Trowel Garden Club decorated at the Dillon House for “Christmas at The Dillon House,” an annual event sponsored by The Dillon County Historical Society.
Fresh greenery, camellia blossoms, rosemary, and holly was used in the dining room on the mantle and placed in vases on the side board and table.
Clove studded oranges called pomanders, were made by member Sally Harrison and placed in a pedestal bowl to give the room a wonderful holiday smell.
The Glove and Trowel is a member of the National Garden Club, Inc., The South Atlantic Region of the National Council, The Garden Club of South Carolina, Inc. and The Coastal District of the GCSA.
