DMV Asking Public To Add Emergency Information To IDs

The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (SCDMV) announced a new online transaction that allows customers with a driver’s license, beginner’s permit or identification card to enter emergency contact information for their SCDMV record. In the event of a collision or other medical emergency, law enforcement will have access to this information and may provide it to emergency medical personnel.

Pedestrian Killed

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on June 24th, according to Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins of the S.C. Highway Patrol. Coroner Donnie Grimsley identified the man as 35-year-old Christopher Eagle.

Chelsea Williams To Present Senior Recital

Chelsea Williams, a piano, voice and organ student of Robin Thompson will be presenting a Senior Recital on Sunday, June 26 at 3 pm in the Sanctuary of Main Street United Methodist church of Dillon with a reception to follow in Asbury Hall.
