Chris ChestnutHamer’s Townsend Hamilton and Dillon’s Jim Carr each earned top spots in the South Carolina Junior Golfers Association (SCJGA) Hootie and the Blowfish Pee Dee Chapter tournaments held on June 13 at Oakdale Country Club and on June 17 at Governor’s Run Golf Club.
Admin 2The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (SCDMV) announced a new online transaction that allows customers with a driver’s license, beginner’s permit or identification card to enter emergency contact information for their SCDMV record. In the event of a collision or other medical emergency, law enforcement will have access to this information and may provide it to emergency medical personnel.
Admin 2A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on June 24th, according to Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins of the S.C. Highway Patrol. Coroner Donnie Grimsley identified the man as 35-year-old Christopher Eagle.

Our recipe this week comes from Rocky Brunson and was passed on to him from his mother Mrs. Mildred Brunson. Rocky made this for the June birthday dinner at Latta United Methodist Church and I am told it was quite a hit.
